The Path of the Gods, an old mule track, runs high along the cliffs from Bomerano down to Nocelle with the sea, Positano and the island of Capri laid out far below, through terraces of lemons and vines held up by stone walls. Long stair-paths drop from the road to pebble coves wedged under the rock, where you slip into clear water in the shade of the wall above.
